BHEF's ISIE a Major Success
BHEF is pleased to announce that our inaugural Institute for Strategic Investment in Education (ISIE): Maximizing the Impact of Corporate Philanthropy was a huge success. Over 45 corporate philanthropy and private foundation leaders convened in Cambridge, Massachusetts April 3-5 to share ideas on improving the effectiveness of education investments. The ISIE was cosponsored by the Harvard Graduate School of Education and supported by the Goldman Sachs Foundation.

Leadership
The leadership of BHEF consists of a chairman and a vice chairman. For 2006-2008, Herbert M. Allison, Jr., who is chairman, president and CEO of TIAA-CREF, serves as chairman of BHEF. David J. Skorton, president of Cornell University, is vice chair.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee serves as the Board of Directors for the Forum, and is responsible for approving all major policies and operating plans of the organization. It includes the chairman, vice chairman, immediate past chairman, and at least four members chosen from the business community and four members chosen from the academic community.
