NICE Conference & Expo 2016

On October 31, 2016, BHEF hosted a pre-conference seminar on Building a Cyber-Ready Workforce Through Business-Higher Education Engagement for the annual National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Conference & Expo 2016 in Kansas City, Missouri. This seminar was a working session where higher education and business representatives engaged in roundtables to discuss and plan out how the educational models presented by panelists can be implemented at their organization. Cyber educational models were presented on three topics: cyber internships, experiential learning, and tracking cyber students from the classroom into the workforce. BHEF was pleased to host this seminar for the NICE Conference with a grant from the Office of Naval Research.
