Commission on Innovation, Competitiveness, and Economic Prosperity Annual Meeting

On Monday, November 11, 2013, BHEF CEO Brian Fitzgerald will be a panelist with BHEF-member institution West Virginia University on "Partnerships for Sustaining Today's and Tomorrow's Energy Workforce." 

In collaboration with the Business-Higher Education Forum, we will discuss West Virginia University's targeted energy management efforts and strategic national and international partnerships to provide West Virginia employers the workforce they need for shale development and other energy resources and other workforce. The focus includes workforce needs in other related areas including environment, community development, and public health.  WVU partner Northeast Natural Energy will join the discussion, and the Department of Energy representative will discuss the Department's efforts related to energy workforce development.
