Regional Project: Drake University, Principal Financial Group
Drake University, in partnership with the Principal Financial Group, is spearheading a partnership in Des Moines, Iowa, to chart a new direction for the capital region through the Capital Crossroads regional effort. The Capital Crossroads effort is comprised of regional education, business, and foundation leaders working to make Greater Des Moines one of the nation’s top mid-sized metro areas. This project uses deep cross-sector collaborations focused on strengthening the education-through-workforce pipeline to ensure the region acquires the trained human capital it needs to meet the demands of the 21st century workforce.
