Release of Version 2.0 of BHEF U.S. STEM Education Model, co-hosted by the Office of Naval Research

This event unveiled the STEM Undergraduate Model® (funded by the Office of Naval Research) to the STEM education community, policy leaders, and others. 

The Honorable Ray Mabus, Secretary of the Navy, gave the keynote speach, which highlighted the leadership, progress and coordination underway to meet President Obama's call to graduate one million additional STEM students by 2020. He was introduced by Rear Admiral Matthew Klunder, Chief of Naval Research, United States Navy.  View the invitation and speaker list for the event.

The report, The U.S. STEM Undergraduate Model: Applying System Dynamics to Help Meet President Obama’s Goals for One Million STEM Graduates and the U.S. Navy’s Civilian STEM Workforce Needs, was also released at the event.  The model is available to run on Forio.com.
